Determination of the minimum inhibitory concentration ( MIC ) of chlortetracycline to Aeromonas hydrophila was studied. Ninety strains of Organisms were isolated from infected wound of snake head fish (Ophiocephalus striatus ) in Chonburi, Chacherngsao, Samut Sakorn and Supan Buri provinces. The MIC of the tested antibiotic to the strains from the first two provinces was 0.37 - 23.92 microgram. The strains from Samut Sakhon were very sensitive to the antibiotic. The MIC varied from 0.186 - 95.7 microgram. It was shown that the strings of A. hydrophila in Supan Buri during the epidemy were highly resistant to chlortertracycline.
