Secondary and micro nutrients in chemical fertilizer
1990
Phanphimon Chanyanuwat | Phonchai Suphawita (Department of Agriculture, Bangkok (Thailand). Agricultural Regulatory Div.)
Secondary and micronutrient content of selected fertilizers registered for use in Thailand were examined. Sulfur and calcium concentrations in NP and NPK fertilizers varied greatly between formulations and even between fertilizers with the same certified NPK values. NPK and NP fertilizers also varied in boron, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum and zinc concentrations. In same cases, the boron, copper and molybdenum content would have been sufficient to correct deficiencies when the fertilizers were used at recommended rates of application.
