Studies of growing Euphorbia tirucalli by stem-cuttings with 4 different spacings : 1.0 x 1.0, 1.5 x 1.5, 2.0 x 2.0 and 2.5 x 2.5 meters, without supplementary irrigation and care was done when necessary. It was observed that : plant spacing of 1.0 x 1.0 meters yielded highest weight of 19,152 kgs/rai. With spacings of 1.5 x 1.5, 2.0 x 2.0 and 2.5 x 2.5 yielded lower weights per rai consecutively. Spacing of 2.5 x 2.5 meters yielded lowest weight of 7,464 kgs/per rai but the average single plant weight showed conversely. Plants with 2.5 x 2.5 meter-spacing showed the highest weight of 29.16 kgs/per plant but plants with 1.0 x 1.0 meter-spacing showed the lowest weight of 11.97 kgs/per plant. All plants observed, were 1 year old. By estimation, plant spacings of 1.0 x 1.0 meters yield 2.260 tons dried weight. When dried plants were chemically extracted yielded 0.5-1.1 barrels of crude-oil per rai, 135.6-203.4 kg. of simple sugar per rai for alcohol fermentation, and over 1.8 tons of bagasse per rai for solid fuel fertilizers and soil conditioners.
