[Study of winter wheat resistance to the cereal bug (Eurygaster austriaca Schrk., Pentatomidae, Heteroptera)]

The resistance of winter wheat to the cereal bug Eurygaster austriaca Schrk. was investigated in production conditions and a nursery in the 1979-1988 period. Several hundreds of Yugoslav and foreign cultivars and lines (from 144 to 203) were tested annually. In production conditions the grain damage was from 1.3 to 5.1, and in controlled conditions in the nursery it was from 1.1 to 12.0. The cultivars Balkan, Macvanka 1, Sremica and lines PI 285960, Pi 321931 and PI 266157 had the lowest percentage of damages.
