In vitro investigations of methods for establishing bull sperm ability to fertilize

The ability of sperm to fertilize was investigated in 58 bulls of different breeds. Computer and spectrophotometric methods are objective and precise for semen analyses. A positive correlation was established between the concentration of spermatozoa and enzyme content in sperm, which indicates that the analysis of enzyme content in sperm is necessary as one of the indicators of sperm quality.
