Studies have been carried out to investigate mycological and mycitoxicological characteristics of wheat, maize, barley and oats intended for the production of combined fodders. The depth contamination together with species and quality variation of mycoflora has been established. It has been found that in all studied cereals species from genus Fusarium predominate those of genus Asperillus. The mycotoxicological investigation has shown no presence of aflatoxins in the studied cereals. Zearalenon has been proved in samples of wheat, maize and barley. Producers of the mycotoxin zearalenon have been isolated from wheat, maize and barley.
