The presence of Rotavirus, Coronavirus and Cryptosporidium spp was tested by the immunoenzymatic (ELISA) test in 172 samples of ovine intestinal content. Four farms at the tenth region of Chile were selected and samples were obtained from: 132 ill lambs up to 30 days of age, 25 clinically healthy lambs from the same age and from 15 adults healthy ewes. From the clinically ill animals, 12 (9.1%) samples were positive to Rotavirus only and 5 (3,8%) to Cryptosporidium spp. No case was found positive to Coronavirus. The co-participation of Rotavirus and Cryptosporidium spp, was found in 3 (2,3%) cases. These results and the simultaneous use of the ELISA test to several agents involved in the ovine neonatal diarrhoea are discussed
