Reproductive and Productive Performances of 3/4 Crossbred Cows in Bako Area

The productive and reproductive performances of three-quarter crossbred cows were studied according to the data collected from 1977 to 1988. The overall mean age and weight at first estrus, age and weight at first service, number of services per conception, age at first calving, gestation length, milk yield and lactation length were computed. Weight at first estrus and first service were significantly affected by sire breed and sire breed by dam breed interactions. The weight and age at first estrus affected each other significantly.
