Seven varieties of corn (Zea mays L.) were planted to study the interrelationships among various agronomic characteristics and to determine their contributions to yield. Results obtained suggest that the genotypic correlation of characters to yield vary with seasons. The characters ear length, rows per ear and number of leaves were most important contributors to yield in the spring season, while leaf area, number of leaves and ear length were most important contributors to yield in the fall season
