In the 1960s, agricultural cooperatives in Hokkaido experienced a drastic change of organization and business, known as "KEITO-TAISHITU-KAIZEN-UNDO" (qualitative change movement of agricultural cooperatives). Because of this change, the character of today's agricultural cooperatives in Hokkaido was established in those days
