Mathematical analysis has shown the strongest positive correlation between the yield of winter rye and sorptive properties, organic matter content, and organic matter reserve. Among the nutrients only available P demonstrated significant correlation yield. In the first approximation one can accept that the optimal for the rye requirements content of organic matter in investigated soil is about 9 percent. The strongest correlation with yield of potato have shown retentional properties, organic matter content, and content of available Mg and P. The optimal for the potato requirements content of organic matter in investigated soils is about 11 percent
