Ekonomix D vitamin mineral mixture or virginiamycin in chickens feeding

Trial was carried out on 1250 Starbo chicken allotted into 5 experimental groups which were given a supply of 1 or 1.5 percent of Ekonomix D plus 3 percent of Yarrow, 5 or 10 ppm of virginiamycin. The impact of these additives was checked on the zootechnical performance, the traits of the carcass, hematological values and sensoric values of meat. Results were generally similar in all groups. The content of inorganic P in the blood was however higher for chickens given Ekonomix D
