Effect of rapeseed meal from double low varieties in diet on a chemical composition of colostrum and milk in sows

An experiment on 18 Polish Landrace sows fed a diet containing 0, 6 or 12 percent of rapeseed meal was carried out. The lower milk fat content caused by diet rapeseed meal was observed. The lower dry matter content but not protein content in milk of sows given rapeseed meal in diet than in control ones was stated. An increase of unsaturated fatty acid (linoleic and oleic) content in milk fat of sow fed rapeseed meal was estimated
