One hundred thirty-eight New Zealand White does of 5-6 months of age were used in the present study. The aim was to investigate the effects of human chorionic gonadotrophin (HCG; Pregnyl) injection at levels of 0.50 and 100 I.U. on reproductive and productive performance of NZW does and their offspring after kindling up to weaning. The effects of time of mating following HCG injection, parity and month of kindling were studied. Progesterone and estrogen levels in blood plasma during pregnancy period were also determined.
