The definition of the shape and the extend of the nutritional space in peanut crops is an important factor in increasing yields per hectare. The experiment aimed to define the most suitable nutritional space available to ensure a good development in plants, to carry out the maintenance works in good conditions and finally to obtain important production gains. In the experiment there were two variants of sowing distances: 50 cm and 70 cm between the rows and four sowing densities: 70,000 plants/ha, 100,000 plants/ha and 130,000 plants/ha. The sowing density of 90,000 plants per hectare contributed to a good fruitage in peanut plants and high yields - 24q pods per hectare.
