During 1991-1993, researches were carried out regarding dispersed maize and soybean crops for silo on the cambic chernozem, under irrigation. The experimental data showed that maize genotypes are compatible with soybean genotypes. The dispersed maize crop is possible when early hybrids (FAO 100-200) or semiearly maize hybrids (FAO 200-300) and late soybean cultivars (Amsoy 71) are used. Interaction between these species depending on sowing density as well as on the optimum proportion between component parts of dispersed maize and soybean crop for silo were registered. This crop increases the yield and improves the energy-protein ratio only when the row spacing for maize is 100 cm and 50 cm for soybean, compared to the row spacing of 50-60 thousand plants/ha for early maize hybrids or 50 thousand/ha for semiearly maize hybrids and 100 thousand soybean plants/ha. The experiments showed the reciprocal "uncomfortable" effects. With the object of removing this effect the other schemes of disposing plants in space will be made up
