Ontogenetic dynamics of photosynthetic activity in flax plants as related to their yielding capacity

In plants from collection samples and in flax cultivars with various yielding capacity the ontogenetic dynamics of the biomass accumulation and the chlorophyll content have been estimated. It has been found that the low-yielding fiber flax cultivars L-1120 and Svetoch were characterized by the lower chlorophyll content and by a quiet pattern of ontogenetic curves with no pronounced peaks.
