Semen quality from ten boars, was examined. The raw semen was diluted in Kiev-diluter and their sperm quality was reexamined. The correlation between the raw sperm quality and the diluted sperm quality was calculated. 50 sows were inseminated with diluted semen and the correlation between sperm quality and litter size, average birth weight and litter weight were interpreted. The following results were obtained. 1. The raw sperm quality show significant positive correlation with the diluted sperm quality (motility) cytoplasmic droplet and abnormality of tail. 2. The motility of raw semen exhibit significant negative correlation with abnormality of acrosome and cytoplasmic droplet. 3. The motility of diluted semen have negative correlation with abnormality of acrosome, abnormality of tail and especially with cytoplasmic droplet. 4. The motility of raw semen and diluted semen show positive correlation with litter size, average birth weight and litter weight. 5. The abnormality of acrosome, cytoplasmic droplet and the abnormality of tail manifest negative correlation with litter size, average birth weight and litter weight.
