Ratio between breast-diameter and crown width in sessile oak trees

The investigations, which were carried out in pure sessile oak stands in northeast Serbia (Yugoslavia), have shown the existence of a very strong correlation link between the crown diameter and breast diameter, well expressed by the linear function and exponential function, as well as by square parable. The obtained results are statistically significant at the level of 0.001. Because of the highest correlation index and the smallest standard error the exponential function was applied. The numerical values of breast-diameters obtained on the basis of crown diameters are presented in the tables.
