Cystoisosporosis has been known as an important coccidian infection of dogs and cats for last years. This paper deals with the differentiation of genera Cystoisospora, Toxoplasma, Hammondia, Sarcocystis, Cryptosporidium and Eimeria. Diagnostics, clinics, pathology, laboratory investigations, therapy and prophylaxis of cystoisosporosis have been also discussed
