A patented 1. carbonation method had been introduced. The new method applies two-stage 1. carbonation with CaO feed in between. The results of factory scale operation are discussed, including qualification parameters of the 1. carbonated juice (sludge and filtered juice separately). The results of juice purification are compared to those of other factories applying different carbonation vessels and previous time in the same factory
