Four soil managements (zero tillage, rotavation, minimum tillage and standard practice) and four fertilizer levels (0-0-0-0, 50-50-50-0, 50-50-50-5 and 100-50-50-5 kg NPK ZnS04/ha) were tested to minimize wheat yield losses due to late sowing in rice wheat cropping system. Yield differences due to soil managements x fertilizer levels were non-significant at higher fertilizer level (100-50-50-5 kg NPK ZnS04/ha). The standard practice and rotavation were at par and yielded 3520 and 3410 kg grains per hectare, respectively. The yield due to both factors was significant.
