Fate of 2,4-dichlorophenol and metolachlor in the environment
1994
Lewandowska, A. | Weymann, P. (Instytut Ochrony Roslin, Poznan (Poland))
The experiments were carried out in lysimeters under field conditions using ring-uniformly labelled with 14C compounds, to determine extractable and bound residues in soil, plants and in the effluent of rainfalls. During first four weeks after treatment disappearance of extractable and formation of bound residues was observed in the same time. In the end of vegetative season 80 percent of the total amount of 2,4-DCP residues in the soil profile remaind in 0-6 cm layer. Metolachlor proved to be very mobile: both kinds of residues in soil profile and the traces of 14C in water were found. The lowest levels of residues of investigated substances were in plant seeds
