The estimation of possibilities of industrial damaged vegetation interpretation based on ground spectrometry
1995
Kravtsova, V.I.
The analysis of ground terrestrial spectrometry data on mountain-tundra vegetation of the Kola Peninsula, damaged by copper and nickel industry, shows that there are different spectral signatures for lichens, lichens with dwarf shrub, dwarf shrub, some species of lichens, dead remains of vegetation, stones with lichens and without them. It was found, that even when using only 4 bands, spectral signatures depend on industrial impact. It is forecasted that it will be possible to divide technogenous deserts and severely damaged tundra at multiband images, but without more detail dividing of other tundras by industrial damage degree
