On the Pupae of Central European Geometridae (Lepidoptera), Subfamilies Archiearinae, Oenochrominae and Ennominae, tribe Theriini

The pupae of the above-mentioned taxa of the family Geometridae are characterized, described and drawn on the basis of external pupal characters. Keys for identification of some species as well as brief data on their bionomics, habitat and economic importance are attached. Based on the morphology of the pupae, the present classification of the Lepidoptera is discussed.
