Taxonomic study of trees at Princess Srinakarindra, the Princess Mother Park, Changwat Kanchanaburi [Thailand]

Area of the park is about 600 rai with mountain in the middle and 200 rai of beautiful rock garden. Plant covers are dry upper mixed deciduous forest and dry dipterocarp forest. Trees were surveyed and the specimens were collected from August, 1987. Size of each species and characteristics of stem, bark, leaves, flowers and fruits were described botanically. The correct name of each plant species was identified and keys to family, genus and species were constructed. Twenty eight famillies and 84 species were found. Among them, family Leguminosae represented the largest number of species.
