Development of computer-aided universal flexible system for the evaluation of product quality

System of evaluation of individual sensory or objective analytical parameters was developed, which was based on easily understandable system of scoring starting with 5 (excellent), over 4 (very good), 3 (good), 2 (satisfactory), up to 1 (poor). Parameters obtained by mechanical, physico-chemical or chemical analysis are also recalculated into points ranging from 1 to 5. The points so obtained enable further mathematical interpretation including statistical evaluation of the results. The application of the proposed system was demonstrated by the example of evaluation of barley and malt.
