Variability of yield components depending on genotypes and stand density and their influence on soybean yield

Three soybean cultivars in three different stand density and six row spacing were examined in field trials in the period 1986-1988. The object of this study were yield and yield components (1000 grains mass and number of grains per plant) along with plant height and first pod height, number of nodes and length of internodes, number of pods per plant and number of grains per pod, mass of grains per plant, total plant mass, harvest index, stem fatness and number of branches on main stem. Analysis of data variability was done using analysis of variance for 3 factor trial, and analysis of properties interrelation using correlation and "path" - coefficient analysis. Defined conclusions, and their importance above all and special, originated from results of researches.
