Effect of age and part of seedling to the growth of a single internode cutting of Japansche Citroen rootstock

إنجليزي. The aim of the study was to find out effect of seedling age and its part to the success of a single internode cutting. This experiment was conducted in nursery house of Tlekung Horticulture Research Station from September 1990 to June 1991. The treatments consist of two factors, i.e age of seedling (4, 8, and 12 months) and part of seedling (top, middle, and base). These treatments were laid in a Factorial Completely Randomized Design, replicated three times. Each treatment consist of 12 plants. The result of these experiments indicated no significant interaction between age and part of seedling on every parameter observed. Percentage of successful cuttings was influenced by part of seedling used, top (75,40 percent), middle (92.35 percent) and base part reached 100 percent. Twelve months rootstock seedling showed better shoot growth and root system than those produced by 4 and 8 months roostock seedling

الأندونيسية. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendapatkan umur dan bagian semaian terhadap keberhasilan stek satu ruas batang bawah. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Sub Balai Penelitian Hortikultura Tlekung, dari bulan September 1990 sampai Juni 1991. Perlakuan terdiri dari dua faktor, yaitu umur batang bawah (4, 8 dan 12 bulan ), dan bagian tanaman yang distek (pucuk, tengah, dan dasar). Perlakuan tersebut tersusun dalam Rancangan Faktorial Acak Lengkap, masing-masing perlakuan diulang tiga kali. Setiap perlakuan terdiri atas 12 tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada interaksi antara umur stek dan bagian stek terhadap semua parameter yang diamati. Keberhasilan stek tertinggi yaitu bagian tengah dan bawah masing-masing sebesar 92,35 dan 100 persen. Umur stek terbaik adalah 12 bulan
