Testicular, epididymal and seminal vesicle weights were recorded during the pubertal period in 8 Awassi(A),12 docked Awassi(AD) and 11 Hamdani(H) ram lambs. Animals were allotted randomly to be slaughtered at 7,8,9 or 10 months of age and organ weights were recorded. Unlike the seminal vesicles, the testes and the epididymis grew in a linear pattern during this period. Density of testicular and epididymal smears indicated that A and AD had established faster spermatogenesis than in H lambs probably due to possible breed difference in the pituitary-hypothalamic axis. There were no effects of docking on testicular, epididymal and seminal vesicle weights and the density of sperms in the smears.
