Brassica (rape and mustard) oil seed cultivars have shown responses to the application of certain micronutrients, particularly B and Zn. In Pakistan application of these micronutrients need critical evaluation in brassica fields. For this purpose the biochemical role, deficiency symptoms and requirements of Zn, Cu, and Mo are discussed with particular reference to Brassica oil-seed production in Pakistan. The interactions of these micronutrients among themselves and with the major nutrients (N, P, K and S) in Brassica crops are high-lighted.
