Field crops are affected by root knot disease caused by Meloidogyne spp. Invasion and development of this nematode is checked by different organo-biological amendments. Number of galls and egg masses of nematode were reduced and plant growth was enhanced when Pasteuria penetrans in combination with different organic amendments was added in soil. Invasion of Meloidogyne spp. was suppressed by P. penetrans alone or in combination with organic amendments. Egg masses and gall formation were higher in control.
