The changes in the level of indogenous phytohormone (GA3, IAA, KT, BAP, ABA) during the process of in vitro tuberization of cv "Favorita" were investigated. The results showed that: 1.) endohormones content in roots was relatively higher than that in shoots from plantlets culture stage to microtuber formation stage; 2.) the level of endohormones in plantlets varied at all stages of microtuberization process; and 3.) the effect of inductive stimulation of microtuber on endogenous phytohormone was remarkable. The addition of BAP and CCC as stimulants created greater effect on endohormone content in the culture shoot than that in the roots. BAP promoted initiation and growth of microtuber while CCC increased tuberization but tend to suppress microtuber development
