Influence of mineral fertilization and liming on physicochemical properties of light soil, crop yield and some features of spring barley
1996
Bednarek, W. | Lipinski, W. (Agricultural University, Lublin (Poland). Dept. of Agricultural Chemistry)
Phosphorus and magnesium fertilization and liming have led to improvement of physico-chemical and chemical properties of light soil by regulation of its reaction, increase of sorption capacity, saturation of sorption complex and effective elimination of toxic ions of exchangeable aluminium. Essential increase in yield of spring barley and yield of protein was observed, mass of one thousand grains has increased and the content of aluminium in utilitarian parts of barley has decreased to the level regarded as safe in feed
