The Braun-Blanquet method was used to study the specific composition whereas phytosociological classification was based on the systematics developed by Matuszkiewicz. The results showed little floristic similarity of lagoons because of large habitat differences. Typical plant communities were lacking, their place were taken by intermediate communities or those related to typical phytosociological units
