Crop rotations were improved to increase the yields and quality of crops at low costs of production. Among 4 examined combinations the highest yields were obtained at cereal-root crop rotation, a little lower at cereal-grass (50%) +legumes (50%) rotation. The cereal-green manure crop rotation was of high energy efficiency and left considerable NPK amounts in soil. At highest yields the cereal-root crop rotation was of low energy efficiency. For environment friendly soil cultivation systems the cereal-grass + 30-50% legume crop rotation and small fertilization rates are recommended
