Analysis of unit costs concerning weight gains as dependent on rapeseed cake "00" content in fattening pig feeding

The results of conducted research indicate that the increase in rapeseed cake "00" content up to the level of 20 percent did not affect the production results of fattening in a statistically significant way. From the economic perspective, the advisability of fattening pig feeding on rapeseed cake depends on price relations between different groups of production means. Taking into account the fodder prices from 4th quarter of 1994 and daily non-fodder costs equal to PLZ 3000 per head, the 20 percent in rapeseed cake content caused a decrease in unit costs concerning weight gains of fattening pigs
