Problems regarding P and K usage
1996
Koerschens, M. (Umweltforschungszentrum Leipzig-Halle GmbH, Bad Lauchstaedt (Germany))
The optimal application of mineral fertilizer under consideration of current knowledge is a precondition for high yields in good quality and for the avoidance of environmental pollution. Reference values for the content of P and K in soil are given and results of the Static Fertilization Experiment Bad Lauchstaedt after more than 90 years to yields, P- and K- uptake as well as balances are reported. In average of the last decades the uptake of P amounts between 25-30 kg/ha/yr and of K 150-200 kg/ha/yr P- and K- contents in soil higher than reference values have no influence on the yields.
