Surface tension of metallic materials after abrasive wear
1995
Tolnai, R. | Hammad, M.
In metallic surface degradation during abrasion, especially owing to a chemical environment, the influence of tension of worn surfaces on the intensity of wear was supposed. Abrasion tests and analysis of residual stress materials of ferritic-perlitic, ferritic-sorbitic, martensitic, austenitic structure and white cast iron demonstrated the influence of mechanical effects of environment and its chemical potential on progress and degree of tension on surface films of machined materials. Surface film activation of machined materials through the deformation of the original condition depends both on the kind of material for increase of intensity of creation of products of corrosive processes and on positive processes of passivation
