Yield and yield component trial on 16 varieties of angle loofah were conducted at vegetable section, Agricultural Research and training Centre, Lampang between May to July, 1990. The design was randomized Complete Block Design with 3 replications. The results showed significant effect of yield per rai. The yield component effects were highly significant on weight per fruit, the length of fruit, harvesting date and mildew resistance rating. The other significant characters were number of fruit per plant and harvesting period. The width of fruit and number of angle per fruit were not significant. Number 4.5 variety was excellent on highest yield, medium size fruit, many fruits per plant and medium resistance on downy mildew. Number 4.1 and 4.3 varieties were nearly the same good characters as number 4.5 variety. Number of fruit per plant, the length of fruit, weight per fruit and the width of fruit had significant positive effect on yield per rai but harvesting date and harvesting period were negative effect on yield per rai.
