[Bioenergetic assessment of field crops]

Bioenergetic evaluation of the field crops (sugar beet, esparcet, winter wheat, grain maize, barley, pea, soybean) grown in Poltava region of Ukraine is carried out. The structure of energy resource consumption is determined by separate types of resources (fuels, machines, seeds, mineral and organic fertilizers, pesticides and labour) and by separate technological operations with use of the resources (soil treatment, sowing, harvesting, transporting, seeds and their preparation, fertilizers and pesticide application). This study helps in the determination of the ways of reducing energy consumption in crop husbandry at the up-to-date conditions
