Characteristics of seedlings F1 interspecific grapevine hybrids Villard 108 x Black Muscat

The purpose of this work was to investigate 7 selected seedlings from F1 progenies obtained by crossing interspecific hybrid variety Villard 108 x variety Black Muscat (Vitis vinifera L.) which were selected in relation to yield and grape quality. Grape yield per vine-stock in investigated seedlings varied from 1.91 to 6.47 kg and content of sugar in grapevine must varied from 19.53 to 24.87. In berry mass and sugar content the investigated seedlings show very significant differences between the seedlings as well as in comparison to the control variety (Black Muscat). The best properties are shown by seedlings No 19403 and 19435 which could be considered as a perspective for an acknowledgement as a new variety
