The evolutionary cycles of four noctuids species Agrotis ipsilon, Agrotis segetum, Heliothis armigera and Spodoptera littoralis, were studied in three Tunisian geographical areas (Sahel, Center and Cap Bon), by means of sexual trapping and observations made on the pre-imaginal development of these species in semi-natural conditions. A. ipsilon and H. armigera present 3 generations in the three geographical areas. The autumnal generation of H. armigera was more important than the two others. The capture bends of A. segetum show a more important flight, in number and duration, during the whole year. As for S. littoralis, it has a nearly sustained fligh during the year, mainly on tobacco
