[Modelling the seasonal demand and supply of agricultural products in the market]

The most important problems of Latvia's agriculture - stabilization and balancing of the demand and supply of food products are discussed. Specific features of the demand and supply of agricultural products are explained. Factors determining the seasonal variations of the demand and supply have been used for analytic calculations. The modelling of seasonal variations in the demand and supply of milk products has been performed by means of electrometrical models. Three stages of the modelling process are analysed. Three possible versions of milk products supply development have been worked out in the analytical calculation of the prognosis. The most possible results of milk products demand and supply prognosis have been obtained using the second version
