Effect of the herbicides Stomp. Harnes and Topogard on weed incidence and grain yield in peas was investigated in field experiments in 1995 and 1996. Herbicide Stomp applied at (3 l/ha) pre-emergence was the most effective for control. After its application the number of weeds decreased by 36-52 and the grain yield of peas has increased by 0.35 t/ha, or 8.5 . Application of the herbicides Harnes and Topogard resulted in the reduction of pea stand weedness by 33-66 . However these herbicides did not increase the yield
