[Biological effectiveness of herbicide Dyplosan Super for the control of Dicotyledonous weeds in spring barley]

The herbicide Duplosan Super was tested at the Latvia State Plant Protection Centre in 1994 and 1995. Applied at the rate of 2.5 l/ha during the tillering stage of spring barley in 1994 it reduced the number of dicotyledonous weeds by 97.O at the first counting. In 1995 at the first counting the weeds were reduced by 95.0 . At the second counting in 1994 the weeds were reduced by 98.0 , and in 1995 - by 55.0 . Duplosan Super did not have any harmful influence on barley crop. The tests showed that it could be recommended for application at the rate of 2.5 l/ha
