This document present a conceptual research framework for integrated management of natural resources, where an approach, holistic and based on biophysical process, is applied for the study of the cause-effect relationships present in the production processes and the utilization of the natural resources. Furthermore, the need is visualized to identify the required technology based on local requirements, through basic and applied research, so that the validation and transference of technology is in harmony with the producer's own decisions
