Research on the identification of faunal species composition on different habitiat types was conducted. Study on the decimating factors that could affect the distribution of wildlife species was also conducted. Sixty-seven wildlife species were identified which include 55 avian species belonging to 10 families and 26 orders, 8 mammalian species under 4 families and 5 orders, and 4 reptilian species. Of the total number of avifauna, 45 are endemic, 7 are resident species, and 3 are migratory. Mahogany plantations have a greater number of avian species than secondary-growth forests
