Effects of potassium alone and in combination with constant dose of nitrogen and phosphorus was studied on number of flowers, % fruit set, % fruit drop and yield per tree of pear cultivar Leconte. Maximum number of flowers (127.30), % fruit set (16.80%) and yield per tree (63.00 Kg), while minimum % fruit drop (31.25%) was observed in the plants receiving 1400 gram potassium sulphate + 1600 gram ammonium sulphate and 1600 gram single super phosphate per tree. Various fertilizer treatments showed statistically significant differences among each other for the parameters observed except for the percent fruit set, which was non significant.
