Effect of changes in physical and chemical properties of light soils affected by straw and mineral nutrients on oats yield. Pt 1. Physical and chemical properties of soil
1996
Sniady, R.
In 1986-88 the pot experiments were carried out to find the effects of straw and mineral nutrients on physical and chemical properties of light soil, with respect to different moisture contents and density of the soil. Four variables were taken into account: 1. Mineral fertilization (NPK and 1.5xNPK); 2. Straw used as fertiliser (0; 17; 5; 35.0 g/pot); 3. Moisture content of the soil (50; 65; 80 percent max. capilary water capacity); 4. Soil density (1.40; 1.50; 1.60 g/cubic cm). Oats were used as test plants. In the experiment, all physical and chemical properties of the soil were strongly affected by the treatments used
